JourneyWoman is an online magazine for women, about women, produced by women. Denise Clark and Ros Owens created JourneyWoman as a place for women in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley to visit and read about local events, local women and items of local interest. They have also launched a private social/business networking section specifically for their readers where women can chat, blog and share their experience - Facebook for the Forest of Dean!

Denise and Ros are passionate about the ideals behind JourneyWoman, they want it to be a site where women feel involved. Anyone can contribute! If you have an interesting or inspirational story, know someone who is passionate about something, someone inspirational, someone who has survived a challenge or achieved something above and beyond the 'norm, then they really want to hear from you. We recommend places to shop, review recipes, discuss family matters and financial concerns. We also feature local woman who have a story to tell.

We are keen to promote local business and events in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, and to tell the stories about some amazing local people. People who give their time and energy to causes and events that they feel strongly about; enterprising people who have set up their own businesses; colourful characters who have an interesting tale to tell; people behind a heartwarming story.
